As part of the Charles A. Dana Center’s collaboration with OpenSciEd (a national consortium of educators working to redesign science education in middle schools around the country), I traveled to St. Francisville, Louisiana to interview some of the students and their teachers who were using the new curriculum. This video, along with several others covering work in other locations around the United States, was the result of that trip.
