In the mid-2000s, I worked as the International Production Manager for (the now defunct) Ignite! Learning, an educational media company based in Austin, Texas. Among the many materials I worked on was a course in 8th Grade Mathematics. With a taste for hip hop and other great music, I served in a Producer role for that course: identifying and hiring musical talent, overseeing the creation of animated videos, providing editing oversight on the songs themselves, and otherwise ensuring that the multitude of “parts” needed for these videos were created with quality, on time, and in a way that was easily shareable across my production team.

These four videos are a small selection from among the hundreds of pieces we produced for that online course. I hope you enjoy watching them as much as I did helping to create them. You may even learn some math!
