Convio was a provider of fundraising and constituent engagement software to nonprofit organizations around the world. The company (later acquired by Blackbaud) was my first foray into a Big Corporate Marketing job after years working in startups and for The University of Texas at Austin.
As Web Communications Manager at Convio, I was tasked early on with redesigning the company’s website. After a terrifying initial six weeks in which I didn’t know if I could complete such a huge and high-profile project under a very aggressive deadline, the new website was launched and I was able to settle into the next two years of work maintaining and improving it.
